“People would ask me, ‘what do you want to be when you’re older?’ and I’d be like, ‘a singer’, and they’d be like, ‘what do you really want to be?’ and I’d be like, ‘oh, I really want to be a singer.”
“You go to fight for love like a soldier, I wanna run away. You’re never scared to walk through the fire, I wish I had your faith.”
A previously unreleased Leona Lewis track, titled “I Miss You Missing Me”, found its way online. It’s a piano-driven, heartbreaking ballad - typical Leona at her best vocals. She’s all emotions and lets them out through that deep, beautiful voice of hers. Her voice sounds free of any flaws, as she goes from high to low notes effortlessly and the raw feeling of the unedited track makes the lyrics come to life perfectly. It’s definitely better than lots of slow tracks on “Glassheart” and deserved to have a spot on the tracklist. Check it out!
*crying*
Too fucking relevant.

“And you’ll always be a part of me / You made me who I am / But I gotta say, I’m not afraid to test my wingspan / ‘Cause they say if you love something let it go, let it go, let it go / Open up the gate / ‘cause your lovebird’s flying away”
